Difficulty Starting Furnace
Have you noticed that your furnace is having difficulty starting up? It could be that you have a disconnected wire somewhere. It could be that your thermostat is damaged or maybe it is a simple fix and your thermostat is turned off. It could even be that your pilot ignition light might just need to be lit. Then there is also the case it could be something even more serious. If your furnace is not turning on and you have checked the thermostat and the pilot light, the best thing is to give a professional a call and have them come out and look at it.
Not Enough Heat
When your furnace comes on have you noticed that it just isn’t heating up as it should? This could be caused by a leak in your ductwork that needs to be fixed. Your air could be escaping through that leak and you are not getting all the air that should be entering your home. Another possibility is that you could have a faulty thermostat. You could try to switch out your thermostat and see if that is the problem.
Poor Indoor Air Quality
With a furnace, you need to have it cleaned for it to work properly. If you are having problems it could be that you have dirty filters or ductwork. If that is the case then you will need to get the air ducts cleaned. You can change your air filters but a professional will need to come in and clean your ductwork. Cleaning your air ducts will help your airflow better and help your home stay cleaner.
